Queensland Labor (apparently) ignores evidence and chickens out of drug law reform

Queensland Labor has ignored all the evidence and chickened out of drug reform. Despite their party platform proposing legalising small quantities of cannabis for personal use, Queensland Labor has decided they would prefer to keep locking up twice as many people for drug possession and use than the rest of the country.

Or at least that's what the brisbantimes.com.au is claiming in their latest story. There's actually no official on the record statement from the Queensland Labor party in the article, so we asked them:
